Windsor Marketing Group sponsors college career conference

In-store marketing company to participate in Marketing and Communications career symposium

Windsor Marketing Group (WMG), an innovative in-store marketing company based in Suffield, CT, continues to build and strengthen its partnership with Bentley University in Waltham, MA by presenting the Marketing / Communications Career Conference on March 21.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the LaCava Center on the campus of Bentley University. The campus is located at 175 Forest St, in Waltham.

Windsor Marketing Group is an innovative in-store marketing group that creates, produces, and delivers shopper marketing programs that inspire and influence in-store buying patterns. The company was founded in 1976 and has grown to nearly 200 associates serving over 3,000 clients including some of the largest retailers in the U.S.

“We are proud of our growing partnership with Bentley,” said Kevin Armata, Founder and CEO of WMG. “We are currently working with Bentley on several research projects, retail technology development and recruitment.  We are thrilled to be able to help with this conference.”

The conference will feature over 50 marketing and communications professionals from media, marketing and consumer package goods firms including HubSpot, EMC, Arnold Worldwide, Hill Holliday, New England Patriots, Dunkin’ Brands, Macy’s Entertainment Group, Fidelity Investments, and Windsor Marketing Group.

Attendees may participate in 8 panel discussions that range from marketing research, product marketing, and user experience, to social media, web design, and public relations.

“The response from our corporate partners has been overwhelming” said Alyssa Hammond, Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Career Services. “This promises to be a signature event for students pursuing marketing-related internships or full-time roles. It is also for students interested in communications-related career paths.”

Along with sponsoring the conference, Windsor Marketing Group will be represented by Philip West, Vice President of Marketing, who will be participating in several panels throughout the day.

Bentley University is one of the nation's leading business schools, dedicated to preparing a new kind of business leader with the deep technical skills, broad global perspective and the high ethical standards required to make a difference in an ever-changing world. To achieve that goal, the university infuses its advanced business curriculum with the richness of a liberal arts education.

Students may register for individual panels and the post-conference Networking Meet and Greet through BentleyLink. Business casual attire is required and students may bring resumes to the event.
